Is your child interested in entering the 2023 Junior Tough Guy & Gal Challenge?

The Junior Tough Guy and Gal is a chance for primary and intermediate aged tamariki to get involved in New Zealand’s biggest mud run series in a version tailored especially for them! The Junior Tough Guy and Gal Challenge will include many of the same amazing perks along with all competitors receiving a stunning finishers medal, Hell Pizza voucher and the chance to experience the challenging obstacles, scenic courses, hot showers and spot prizes. The Tauranga event is held at Bay Park, where there is plenty of parking and wonderful facilities. Registration, the start/finish line and showers/toilets are located next to the stadium (oval) and the course heads out the back into the neighbouring farmland.

Arataki School is sharing the opportunity to participate. Parents will need to register their child and on the day be responsible for supervision and transportation of their child. Tai will be attending and will provide a marquee for whānau to gather and leave their gear, but will not be responsible for students.  

When: Friday 21st July 9 (Week 1, Term 3) 

Where: Bay Park - 81 Truman Lane, Mount Maunganui

Age: Year 3-6 

Cost: Fee  $30 pp

Refunds: Any withdrawals will incur a $10 admin fee. There will be no refunds within 7

days of the event.

Event timetable:

8.30am - 9.30am: Registration at venue

10.00am: Years 7 & 8

10.05am: Years 5 & 6

10.10am: Years 3 & 4

12.00pm: Prize-giving

1. It is VERY IMPORTANT parents select the CORRECT ENTRY, DATE & VENUE for their child

2. We are not entering as a school group so select “I THE PARENT will pick up the race number”.
