Arataki PTA (ATK PTA)

Your child is an important part of our school community,  and we’d love to get to know you too!​​​​​​​

Join our awesome Arataki PTA Team to stay connected with our kura, meet other whānau and staff, and help support our school in fun and meaningful ways. 

ATA PTA meet 3 times a term on a Wednesday evening, 6-7pm to discuss and organise events.  We come together in small groups to prepare for events at times and days that suit everyone.

When joining the ATA PTA you do not have to commit to everything. You are welcome to come along to as much or as little as you like. Whatever works for you.

ATK PTA Events

The Arataki  PTA team fundraise throughout the school year. Here are some of the fundraising events that have taken place over the past year.

  • Themed Lunches and raffles (whole community)
  • Mufti Days (children only)
  • Disco (children only)
  • Matariki Community breakfast (whole community)
  • Bingo night/Auction (Parents only)
  • Christmas on the field (whole community)

ATK PTA Projects

    The Playground Project

    Arataki PTA are currently raising funds to replenish our playgrounds and purchase new fun equipment for our tamariki to enjoy at kura. Last year we replaced the monkey bars on the junior playground.  We are now looking to raise money for some large items to add to our current senior playground.

      The Playground Project

      Arataki PTA are currently raising funds to replenish our playgrounds and purchase new fun equipment for our tamariki to enjoy at kura. So far, we have replaced the monkey bars on the junior playground.  We are now looking to raise money for some large spider web swings.

      The Front Garden Project

      Arataki PTA are transforming the front garden at the front of the school. This includes adding new waka seating, wooden fencing, a whare and, new native plants.

      In 2024 Arataki Friends of the School raised $60,000 towards the cost of our first school van.
