Kia ora whānau

Welcome to our new look newsletter.

This is our first offical newsletter of 2022, this is due to a combination of the impact of Covid and also that we wanted to move to an online platform to give us more options with our newsletters. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we took the time we needed to get this up and running.

This newsletter is our prototype that we will improve as we get your feedback. I am looking forward to seeing how our newsletters develop over the coming months.

You may have  noticed a change in how we are using our communication tools. Our primary communication tools are Hero and Facebook. Previously we dual posted on both Hero and Facebook.

We have streamlined how we are using our tools to create 2 spaces with different purposes.

Hero:   Hero is the platform we will use for most of our communication, newsletters, quick updates etc. And of course this is where you will find your child/ren's reports and stories about their learning.

Facebook: We use Facebook to showcase what is happening at school and also for community notices.

Kia pai ō rā whakatā. Have a great weekend

Shelley Blakey

Our Highlights

In case you missed these on Facebook… look what we have been up to.

News from the Sports Desk

As many of you are aware we have a new sports co-ordinator, Kendall Forrester-Moore. Kendall has certainly hit the ground running.  She will be giving us a sports desk update in each of our newsletters BUT we need your help too. Coaches, managers, whānau - if you are watching our kids in action we would love photos and short blurb to showcase. We would also love to know about our stars out there who may not be our school sports teams but are achieving at a high level or getting in there and giving things a go.

Below are articles of some older events that we have left in to give you an idea of how it will look …
